About The Anderson Bar
The Anderson Bar officially opened in March 2016 inside Miami’s oldest bar, formally Magnum Lounge. Brought to life by the team behind the popular Broken Shaker, Gabe Orta and Elad Zvi of Bar-Lab, The Anderson Bar is poised to be a favorite locals neighborhood bar in Miami’s burgeoning MiMo District. To complement the eclectic cocktail menu, 26-year-old rising star chef , Alex Chang, was tapped to create a menu that takes an exotic approach to traditional bar bites. Having gained popularity in Los Angeles from a documentary based on his college supper club, Chang arrived to Miami in 2015 to serve as Executive Chef of the neighboring MiMo eatery, Vagabond Restaurant & Bar. For The Anderson, Chang has conceived a creative menu of globally-inspired munchies that guests can enjoy at diner-inspired booths, or paired with a cocktail at the bar.
